Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the Head of School is updated on enrolment figures as they change, registration lists, and any other questions or concerns
- Act as the first point of contact with the public:
- Conduct interviews with parents and students to provide orientation to the BIS and its programmes
- Refer parents to appropriate people with any questions regarding tuition payments, course selection, grade placement, etc…
- Explain procedures for proper grade placement.
- Ensure documentation for each applicant is complete prior to admissions and forward paperwork to appropriate personnel
- Coordinate admission testing throughout the year as well as bulk testing sessions in August and January
- Convey admission decisions to parents via telephone/Whats App messages with written follow-up letters
- Administer admissions procedures and policies
- Conduct the initial assessment of all applicants to verify age, passport, grade, school records, applicant contents, and if MLL or Resource evaluations are apparent
- Notify parents of testing results and options, as needed
- Liaison with the Business Offices, Principals, Nurse, Teachers, and Coordinators on the status of student withdrawals, enrollment, etc.
- Administer departure procedures for leaving students
- Prepared the enrolment data and all forms or reports generated
- Follow up on all communication regarding school inquiries and prospective
- Track students during their first weeks in school to ensure they are settling in
- Project student enrolment by grade level for the coming year
- Provide data and report on admission to inform the Marketing Department’s action plan program
- Support the building and maintenance of relationships in the admission area with other similar schools
- Assist in the development and administration of effective orientation programs for parents
- Coordinate presentations for the Admissions with Embassies and Companies, as needed
- Assist the PTA (FoBIS) with the information needed, i.e., new families, and new companies to ensure that they are welcomed into the BIS community
- Prepare marketing and admission events including but not limited to open houses and collaborative events with feeder schools
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of School
Qualifications:
- Good English communication skills
- Good knowledge of social media and marketing, with the ability to provide valuable input to the marketing team.
- Have Customer Service Oriented skills
- Detail-oriented
- Hardworking and willing to work under pressure
- Self-motivated, proactive, and a good team player
- Experience in dealing and communicating with expatriates
- Computer literate (Windows 10/11, Office 2016/2019, Google Apps)
- Minimum education: Bachelor, preferably in Marketing Management or Business Administration
- Experience in a related job is preferable
- Three (3) years of working experience in a similar position, preferably in an international environment
