Responsibilities:
- Providing and/ or carry out legal advice and/ or opinions, in short, handling and/ or managing any legal issues on any of the company’s existing and future: (a) business activities; (b) operations; (c) supporting functions; (d) corporate actions; (e) corporate planning; (f) intellectual property registrations and issues (including renewal); and (g) disputes (including its settelement, if any); including identifying (and providing solutions for any) implications to any internal policies, systems and procedures being adopted by the company.
- Managing and supervising all litigation proceedings of the company in any region; advising the boards on the pros and cons of the case(s) and providing business-oriented legal solutions on the proceedings.
- Managing, supervising, and if necessary, drafting and/ or reviewing any agreements and legal-related/ formal letters for the company to the best interest if the company.
- Managing and liaise all external legal-related service provider, if any; Ensuring all budget are well vetted, calculated and well-executed.
